Maxi Dress

I'm not so much into fashion. I like to wear comfortable clothes that looks good on me. I don't buy whatever is in fashion every season. There are 4 seasons in Korea, so doing this would be quite expensive...

It's already July... the weather is getting hotter by the day. Though the rainy season is around the corner, it's still hot and humid.

Maxi dress... me and my sister were searching for a maxi dress for Chloe (my niece, if you haven't read about her in my blog). It was hard to find a maxi dress for her because she's taller than most children her age in Korea and when we tried to find it in US base stores, they didn't have a 2T (her size).

My sister finally found one... in a korean store, and she also saw a maxi dress for adults as well. SO, she bought the two. Chloe's maxi was big for her... not the length but the width... so my sister had to reform it. The reforming just involved sewing the straps... it was actually haltered.

And my sister went to the US base to withdraw some money and she again bought yet another maxi dress. She's into maxi dress more than me, even though she doesn't like wearing dresses. She also got a gift from her friend. BUT it' didn't look good on her, the color for one didn't suit her but the dress made her look really fat, don't know why... but for some reasons she never looked good in dresses, she looks good in skirts though. SO hurray for me!! I have 3 maxi dresses now!!! I can now wear them when I visit Manila this OCT!!!

  7. I have maxi blouse, lol! is there such thing as maxi blouse? because I have one that looks like in the photo (Chloe) but only blouse, not a dress :D

The first time I saw that blouse I was stunned and when I checked the tag, it says "Made in the Philippines". I got stunned more! so I bought it right away :D

  9. Ah really? You should have asked Tai Sun to buy it, minus the mark-up (taxes, etc etc) pa! :) Oh well, I don't know. It's the US base anyway. Army's wives get great deals (and so do the friends, hello lipstick!)
