Let It Snow

It's not the first snow for 2010 winter. It snowed a little about a week ago, where I slipped in front of our gate since the flooring was granite (super slippery).

It started to snow early afternoon, and stopped and then it's snowing again... and the snowflakes are really big...

I love watching the world when it snows, and am sure other people who have never experienced it would envy, but the reality is that it's worse than rain. At least when it rains the dirt on the streets are somewhat washed away. Snow, on the other hand, piles up on the dirt and leaves very wet, slippery and dirty road.

I don't like winter, and snow fighting or making snow man is not in my nature even if I have a toddler at home. But it brings back the memory I had with my mom when it snowed so much in Seoul and my aunt mom and I had to walk home after singing at a karaoke.

Well, with the weather we are having right now... we are going to have a White Christmas~!!!

  1. I remember a coworker, the first time she saw snow, she took her shoes off and let her feet touch the snow. :)

  4. For those who haven't experienced winter (like me), the sight of falling snow (even just in pictures)is very exciting.

But one of my friends said that the winter is pretty boring because it's so cold, you won't be able to go out much.

  6. I'd often wish it would also snow here in the Philippines, but fat chance. :D

People love what they can't have and hate (or dislike) what they have. I guess that's true. I also know friends who dislike snow for the same reasons as yours.

  8. I would love to have a white Christmas too! we might get it sooner than we thought. I love snow, but just hate scraping it off my car and paving the driveway just to get out though.
